Ed's website underwent many transitions before
settling on a color scheme, logo and header that
everyone liked.
We're not quite finished with adding additional text
and information for his clients yet, but you're

Ed is a history buff
and is currently writing a history of the Second
World War. In addition, because of his love of all
things historical, the medieval look of the logo
that we created for his web-site went over well with
Ed and his friends.

This is a two page website
with a shopping cart, designed for the mother
company, American Powertrain (below), in order to
draw web traffic looking strictly for hydraulic
clutches.
The web coloring pulls in the green and purple
colors, which are the mother company's color choices
for their business and product packaging.
The website pictured on the left is a condensed
version of the actual page.

The Feathered Nest belongs to a Photographer, a
personal friend of mine, named Robyn Berndardi (aka
Robyn Matherly)
After sitting down with Robyn, we went through three
designs [now 4, see below] and settled on this one
on the left.
The menus will eventually filled with information
and the portfolio page will extend more into a type
of blog page as she gains more customers when her
business starts off fulltime in Sept 2009.
After a couple of weeks
the website below just didn't set right with
the client, so it was redesigned again to
the one on the left. We do think it
looks much better, cleaner, and more in line
with what other photographers are doing.

Big John's Closeouts is a
company that sells discount home improvement
merchandise.
The site is not a storefront, but contains sample
images of their products without pricing (due to the
"closeout" nature of their business).
I set up their hosting account, multiple email
addresses, designed the website and graphics
(including the
Klutz !!) and have to
date loaded over 330 web pages.

the vendors supplied for Big John's to
sell. This went over and above the call of
duty and I didn't charge extra for this
service, since the manager is a family

Bowers Construction's website
was designed after a personal friend inquired about
the costs of a website. It was created to talk him
into going ahead with one for his own business. (How
can he pass it up now?) If he decides against
one, this template and all inner pages will be up
for sale with all lettering to suit the new
customer's needs. I think this one was my best work
so far, so I may keep it for myself to replace
TriCitiesWebSolutions. You can always bid on it
though. Just send me an email. Usual cost is $300
with these 19 blank pages included along with the
changes in text on the buttons and header. After
that initial cost, each page runs about $25 per page
to set up your own products and text. So you can
have a 19 page website for as little as $775 ready
to go. This is a real bargain and is far lower than
other web site designers will offer. If you find
lower pricing, please let me know, as I'm new to
estimating costs of my work, having been strictly on
a time clock in the past.

Powertrain is a company that sells Performance and
Improvement parts for classic and modern cars.
This company is owned by The Driven Man (below).
This division of the company was created in order to
have the American car line of products and services
separated from the British car division. Eventually
the American Cars will come off of The Driven Man's
website and they will run independently of each
other.
In the meantime, my job is to duplicate all price
changes, adding graphics to both, etc. If you've
ever tried to see what two folders on your hard
drives contained the same files or if you had
duplicates to get rid of, you'll understand how
precise one must be in doing this type of work
across two websites.
So that may give you some idea as to my abilities to
organize and abilities of being accurate.
There are thousands of products in the shopping
carts on this website. All vendors were personally
contacted by us for pictures and technical
information for this website, when product pictures
were not available.. |

The Driven Man is a
company that sells Performance and Improvement
parts for classic and modern cars, both British
and American. I've had to learn quite a bit,
not only about their products, but about cars
and how they work, and a whole bunch about
shipping their products!
This website was initially only 10 pages
large when I first took it over.
It had no shopping cart, no Buy Now buttons and
consisted of only Jaguar related parts. The
company has now branched out with Ford, GM, and
Mopar products, and the website has built to
what you see today, single handedly by yours
truly (me!) We're all proud of our website and
get compliments on it daily.
It is now a massive website of about
1,400 pages big.
When searching the major search engines for our
products of "pistol grip shifter mopar",
"TKO-500", or "TKO-600" or just about any
transmission related car part, you'll usually
find The Driven Man on the first page you
Google.
With three or four major competitors in the
market, The Driven Man has established a
presence through my services as their webmaster
that has truly made the competition insane with
jealousy (and a mad rush to figure out what in
the heck I've done to promote them so well).
Secrets are Secrets!
I also do their marketing advertisements such as
flyers
and magazine ads. These services are available
to you too.
I'm still working on
getting the newer American car line of products
available through the shopping cart as well, but
this
flywheel page
will give you a great example of what every page
will eventually be like - with the ease of
placing items in the shopping cart (go ahead and
give it a try...it won't bite ya!) to the
foreign currency conversion and the graphics are
really sweet! |
